Dance Artist
Hannah Anderson is a dance artist, choreographer and educator based in Kansas City, MO. Her professional career began with Störling Dance Theater and soon expanded into creative projects with companies across the region. Since 2015, Hannah has performed with Ad Deum Dance, Open Sky Arts Collective, and Mei/Co Dance, in addition to a wide range of freelance performance and collaborative work.
Over the past three years, Hannah has created and performed in more than 20 original works with her Kansas City–based repertory company, Anderson Dance Co. She is also honored to appear with Mei/Co Dance in The Mama Project, an upcoming dance film scheduled for release in 2027. One of the most meaningful experiences of Hannah’s career was performing in Dianne McIntyre’s premiere of When We Come to It, presented by Michael Uthoff and Dance St. Louis at New Dance Horizons in 2016. Nearly a decade later, Hannah returns to St. Louis to present her own work, Joy Unfolding!, at the Spring to Dance Festival.
While Hannah has devoted much of the past several years to directing and leading creative projects, her favorite place remains the studio in the role of student. Above all, she is grateful to be a wife and mother to three delightful children, whose creativity and curiosity provide her with endless inspiration.

"I was very taken by [Hannah's] dancing. She has a non-mannered way of moving which allows a choreographer to do anything and to go whatever direction they want... That is a wonderful gift to have!"
— Dianne McIntyre, Acclaimed Choreographer and Educator
